Native Seeding and Plant Plug Cost-Share Program Application

Native Seeding Woodland Preserve

The intent of this program is twofold. First, the Village Ecologist may recommend that an area be seeded and/or planted with native species following garlic mustard removal or invasive shrub removal. Second, residents may wish to seed a woodland understory, prairie, or wetland to increase native species diversity or to fill in bare areas.

The Native Seeding and Plant Plug Program Application Fee of $100 must be submitted along with your application and can be paid by credit card over the phone.  A 3% service charge will be applied for all credit card payments.  A check written out to the "Village of Riverwoods" can also be dropped off or mailed to the Village Hall.  

* Prior to submitting this application, please be sure you have previously applied for an Ecological Consultation and have received approval from the Village Ecologist, confirming your qualification for this program.
