Invasive Shrub Removal Cost-Share Program Application

This program helps improve the ecological health of the property by removing invasive shrubs, such as common and glossy buckthorn, burning bush, Japanese barberry, honeysuckle, and sugar maple and ash tree saplings, thereby increasing the opportunity for desirable native species to thrive.

Invasive Shrub Removal Cost-Share Program Application Fee of $100 must be submitted along with your application and can be paid by credit card over the phone.  A 3% service charge will be applied for all credit card payments.  A check written out to the "Village of Riverwoods" can also be dropped off or mailed to the Village Hall.  

* Prior to submitting this application, please be sure you have previously applied for an Ecological Consultation and have received approval from the Village Ecologist, confirming your qualification for this program.
