A message from our Fire Chief
By Tom Krueger, Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Chief
Greetings from the Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Protection District. My name is Tom Krueger. I have been the Fire Chief for the past six years.
It is an honor to serve our community for these past years. I have been a Lincolnshire-Riverwoods FPD firefighter for the past 21 years. Our organizational Mission Statement is, “Make a Difference, Be Professional, and Proudly Serve Everyone”. Though rather short and simplistic, it is the core of the service we provide. We espouse the values of integrity, family, leadership, dedication, and professionalism. The success of our organization is through the support of our community, village officials and our dedicated and highly trained professional firefighter paramedics.
We currently have many programs for our residents. From home safety checks to smoke detector program, we are here to assist you with other safety considerations other than responding to emergencies. Our home safety check involves our firefighters performing voluntary home safety inspections to check for general fall and fire hazards within your residence. We also have a smoke detector program in which we will provide you with assistance with your current smoke/carbon monoxide detector and suggest proper placement of these detectors per current fire codes. We love coming out to meet our community during block parties, holiday, and seasonal events, etc.
If there are any questions, comments, suggestions in how we can serve you better, please feel free to contact us at 847-643-2512 or email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. We are always looking for suggestions and ideas to make our community safer.
