B. Public Hearing – to consider the application of Deerwaukee Real Estate LP. through its tenant, Alternative Wellness Group, Inc. for amendment of Ordinance No. 79-5-11, to add to the enumerated uses a health and well store at Colonial Court Shopping Center.

PLAN COMMISSION HEARING NOTICE
Please take notice that the Plan Commission of the Village of Riverwoods will hold a public hearing on November 7, 2019, at 7:30 p.m., in the Riverwoods Village Hall, 300 Portwine Road, Riverwoods, Illinois, to consider a zoning text amendment. The text amendment would amend the Riverwoods Zoning Ordinance by adding a defined term for “cannabis dispensary” and allowing cannabis dispensaries in the B-1 Neighborhood Business District, subject to certain general provisions governing cannabis dispensaries.
The proposed amendment is available for inspection at the Riverwoods Village Hall. All persons desiring to be heard in support or opposition to the proposal shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard in person or to submit their statements in writing, or both.
