The View from Village Hall | Our Woodland Neighbors

One of the perks of living and working in Riverwoods is looking out the window and seeing wildlife walk by. Deer are frequent visitors to Village Hall, to the delight of the staff.

During winter months, Riverwoods residents will see deer foraging in the woods and through the snow. As a reminder, please do not feed the deer. Supplementing their diets is not in the best interest of the deer. In winter, they use their body fat and vegetation they forage to make it through to spring.
