"Paws for Thanks & Giving" | Orphans of the Storm Temporary Foster Event, Nov. 22-26

Orphans of the Storm's temporary holiday foster event is back!

Help give a dog a break from the shelter with the "Paws for Thanks & Giving" temporary foster event. There is only a minimum 4-day commitment --- no strings attached! And who knows, you may just find your new, furry-family member!

If you are interested in participating in the "Paws for Thanks & Giving" event, checkout the specifics below:

• Minimum 4 day commitment 
• Pick up on Wednesday, November 22nd
• Drop off on either Sunday, November 26th or Tuesday, November 28th

• Here you can indicate which dogs you would like to potentially foster, but no dog can be guaranteed to any particular person until pick-up.
• Dogs must have been on-site for 2 weeks or longer.
• Dogs who are participants in the event will have a “Paws for Thanks and Giving” attribute on their profile at orphansofthestorm.org.

After you sign-up for a pick-up time, you then will receive a “match-making” phone call some time between Tuesday, November 14th and Tuesday November 21st. Sign-up for drop-off times will be communicated after pick-up.
