Enriching Life: The 9th Botanical Art Exhibition | Continues through February 25 | Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods

Pink Peony Painting

In January and February, Ryerson Woods in her monotonous winter color will present visitors with a dazzling botanical art exhibition at Brushwood Center.

A group of artists will display works in various styles: traditional botanical illustrations, works with emphasis in aesthetics, and natural history art. The detailed works depicting the natural world will spark a conversation and bring an educational opportunity about nature and its sustainability to adults and children alike.

The exhibiting artists are former and current students of Heeyoung Kim, founder of Heeyoung Kim Botanical Art Academy at Brushwood Center.

There will be artist demonstrations in watercolor, graphite pencil, pen and ink, and colored pencil on Sunday, February 11 from 1pm - 3pm.
