This Week Our Flags are Flying at Staff Honoring a Fallen Officer

Governor JB Pritzker directed that all persons or entities covered by the Illinois Flag Display Act to fly the flags at half-staff in honor and remembrance of Chicago Police Officer Luis Huesca, 30, who tragically died in the line of duty on Sunday, April 21, 2024, as he was returning home from a shift in Gage Park. The direction covered sunrise on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 to sunset on Monday, April 29, 2024.
