Police Press Release Activity 11/01/23 to 11/07/23

Aggravated Battery Arrest

On 11/07/08, New Lenox Police served a Riverwoods Police arrest warrant to Joseph Austin, male, age 71, with a last known address in the 3700 block of Deerfield Road, Riverwoods, IL, charging him with four counts of Aggravated Battery to one victim and two counts of Aggravated Battery to the second victim. All charges are Class 3 Felonies. He was transported to Will County Jail pending transport to Lake County for a detention hearing.

DUI Arrest

On 11/05/2023 at 1:03 a.m., police stopped a vehicle near Lake Cook Rd and Portwine Rd and arrested the driver, Sara Flores-Moran, female, age 30, of the 1400 block of 20^th Street, North Chicago, IL, for Improper Lane Usage, No Valid Driver’s License, Illegal Transportation of Alcoholic Liquor and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. She was processed, released, and is scheduled to appear at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan on December 13, 2023, at 9:00 A.M.
