Leaving The Scene of an Injury Crash Arrest
On 09/14/2023 at 10:08 A.M., police dispatched to a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian at the corner of Riverwoods Rd and Portwine Rd. A 32-year-old male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle which then left the scene. The investigation led to the arrest of Jay M. Lipkin, male, age 70, of the 1600 block of Mission Hills Rd, Northbrook, IL, who was charged with Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Accident, Failure to Give Aid and Information and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident. He was processed and transported to the Lake County Jail for a bond hearing. Court date to be set by a judge.
DUI Arrests
On 09/17/2023 at 12:57 A.M., police stopped a vehicle near Lake Cook Rd and Discover Way and arrested the driver, Ulziitogtokh Dandar, male, age 53, of the 18000 block of W. Banbury Dr, Gurnee, IL, for Speeding and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. He was processed and released on a $3,000.00 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan on October 18, 2023, at 9:00 A.M.
On 09/18/2023 at 12:12 A.M., police stopped a vehicle near Lake Cook Rd and CCH Dr and arrested the driver, Angela B. Jordan, female, age 26, of the 900 block of Shady Tree Ln, Wheeling, IL, for Speeding, No Headlights When Required and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. She was processed, released and is scheduled to appear at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan on October 18, 2023, at 9:00 A.M.
