Assault and Criminal Damage to Property Arrest

On 04/14/2024, at 3:04 a.m., police arrested BRIAN S. BARDO, male, age 18, of the 0-100 block of Brantwood Av, Elk Grove Village, IL, for Assault and Criminal Damage to Property. Bardo allegedly shattered two bottles of wine, which were offered for sale, and threatened to shoot an employee at Thorntons Gas Station when employees refused to sell him tobacco products without an ID. Bardo was processed, released and is due to appear at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan on 05/15/2024 at 9:00 a.m.

Alcohol and Tobacco Sale Compliance Check Violation

On 04/14/24, during evening hours, police conducted compliance checks at businesses selling alcohol and/or tobacco. At 7:00 p.m., police cited TONG FANG, male, age 33, of the 3700 block of Archer Av, Chicago, IL, for selling alcohol to an underage agent at a business in the 2000 block of Milwaukee Av.  He will be scheduled to appear at an administrative hearing at Riverwoods Village Hall on a date TBD.
