Greasers! Pink Ladies! Danny, Sandy and the songs you love from Grease are coming to Riverwoods...Riverwoods Outdoor Movie Night Under the Stars.
Join your hosts, residents Marla and Dan Gelfond along with Mayor Kaplan and the Village, for a unique community experience. The event, including an auction of exciting items, raffles, kids games and movie style treats, will take place Friday, September 14th at 6:30pm at the Riverwoods Village Hall. "We saw this as a great opportunity to share a fun, family activity with Riverwoods," said Dan Gelfond. "We have done this for years with family and friends, and are expecting a full house. Everyone loves an outdoor movie."
"We are also raising money for the Jessica Shayne Magid chapter of the Leukemia Research Foundation, a chapter started by our neighbors Stacy and Dave Kaufman and their family in memory of Stacy's sister," explained Marla Gelfond. "When we asked Mayor Kaplan and the Village to be a part, there was a lot of excitement and tremendous support. It will be a great night."
